In 2007, a group of pioneers founded the Washington County Business Council. These like-minded business leaders sought to push back against the numerous forces that prevented them from freely exercising their rights to own and operate their businesses. From day one, the WCBC has fought governmental overreach and inefficiency on the local, regional and state level. While our membership grew, so did our community’s financial health. Now, 10 years from its inception, our region is more business friendly and economically robust than ever.
