Ms. Carolyn Esther McCormick: President and CEO, Washington County Visitors Association, Beaverton, Oregon

Ms. McCormick began her career in the travel and tourism industry in 1987 representing Lake County, Indiana.  Over the span of almost 3 decades she has led travel and tourism development efforts across the United States.  Ms. McCormick served as Deputy Director of Tourism, Film & Sports for the State of Indiana; Managing Director Culture, Leisure, Recreation City of Lubbock; Texas, Managing Director Outer Banks of North Carolina and currently President-CEO of Oregon’s Washington County Visitors Association.

The Washington County Visitors Association (WCVA) is a non-profit destination marketing organization, which serves the region’s tourism industry by actively promoting Oregon’s Washington County to business and leisure travelers, sports and event planners, meeting planners and group tour operators as a desired travel destination.



The Tualatin Valley is scenically situated between Portland and the Oregon Coast in the Pacific North West. The valley is considered Portland’s backyard and is the gateway to the famed Willamette Valley wine country, Tillamook Forest, an array of outdoor recreation opportunities, scenic wetlands and wildlife preserves, superb dining, and shopping.
